All you need is Love <3

So as February is ushered in we celebrated 2 wonderful years of marriage at the end of January.  I love this time of year because I get a chance to be truly spoiled ;)  

For our anniversary William sent me a beautiful basket of flowers in the for of a puppy... so cute... and so thoughtful.  The first weekend in February two of my best friends Shaunna and Heather came from Jackson to visit.  We had an ultrasound of Liam at 24 weeks and spent many many hours chatting and catching up.  It was way overdue!!

Valentines day is tomorrow and I received a charm bracelet from my sweet husband.  Like I said, I love this time of year... I'm spoiled :)

Now only a little over a week until my birthday...

Boys: Noise with Dirth on it.

About 2 weeks ago, I was saying that I wish I could feel Liam moving... well... as the old saying goes... becareful what you wish for.  Since that time he has not been still.  He wiggles, kicks, flip-flops, etc.  The best part... his play time conveniently falls during the hours when most people sleep... Including myself.

Sigh... But how can you get mad... I cant help but smile when I'm kicked from a sound sleep ;)

A new year, a new start, and a brand new life :)

A new year...

Upon the encouragement of a few friends... I decided to go forward with a blog for The Nicholas'.  As 2011 closes and 2012 is off to a bang... so many wildly amazing things have happened to us this past year.  Having said that, I am not sad to see 2011 go... but am anxiously awaiting the great adventures that 2012 has in store.

A new start...
2011 was a year of rebuilding for our family.  Having lost our first baby on June 7, 2011... it took several months, many tears, and a deeper respect between William and I, but we made it...

A brand new life...
In September we found out we were expecting again... and while the normal fears and worries were hightened in our case... we couldn't help but be thrilled with the new life we had created. We found out on Dec. 3rd 2011 that this little life was a boy.  Daddy was proud ;) .  William Franklin Nicholas III will be his name and he will be called Liam.  What an amazing blessing Liam has been to us already... I can only imagine how much he will bring to our lives when he gets here.
